Stay as far away from this firm as much as possible and if they are suggested for a GAL in your case, ask for other options. They do not care about actually looking out for the child but rather about money. They are extremely unprofessional and will deny evidence staring straight at them. If you want to be a guinea pig treated with zero respect Terry & deGrauuw are for you!

To say my case was complicated would be an understatement, not only was it complicated but it was complex. It was unlike any case Katie had previously handled but you wouldn’t know that by her expertise. I could not have obtained a better lawyer. While seeking help for DV, I was recommended to reach out to Terry & deGraauw for their unique approach to divorce. Their lawful expertise aside they tackled my situation by hearing me out on everything and always advising me in accordance to my values, my morals and overall what would be best for me long term. Divorce is always a lose-lose scenario, that’s the reality. However Chelsey and her team worked with me to make sure that I understood the long term goals. Yes, sometimes I was given advice I disagreed with, but I trusted Chelsey and I got to say, she was right. After everything finalized and I reflected back on the longest year of my life, I was happy with the results knowing if I had listened to my inexperienced and impatient gut I would have made things worse.
