Jennifer deGraauw, a Family Law attorney based in Albuquerque, has earned a statewide reputation with her clients and colleagues for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to her clients’ goals. With over seventeen years of experience in exclusively domestic relations, Jennifer specializes in navigating separate property claims, prenuptial agreements, business valuations in divorce, and spousal support.

Jennifer’s excellence in her field has been consistently acknowledged, having been named a “Top Three Family Law Attorney” by the Albuquerque Journal since 2018. She has also been recognized as a Super Lawyer’s “Rising Star” in 2017 and has received the Super Lawyers distinction from 2019 to the present. In 2020, she earned the Best Lawyers distinction for Family Law and was named “Lawyer of the Year” in 2022 for Family Law Mediation, as well as “Lawyer of the Year” in 2023 for Collaborative Divorce and “Lawyer of the Year” in 2024 for Family Law in New Mexico.

As a former President of the New Mexico Collaborative Practice Group and a respected member of the legal community, Jennifer’s influence extends far beyond the courtroom. In addition to serving on numerous boards and committees, she was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Mexico to serve on the New Mexico Domestic Relations Rules Committee. Jennifer authored key Domestic Relations rules, including the New Mexico Collaborative Law Act. She currently serves on the Bosque School Board of Trustees.
